We are a non-profit, privately owned
club located on Purvis Road, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. Serving active duty, retired, reserve/national guard, and
DOD ID card holders and their families since 2004, the QRC is housed in a 40 stall barn along with several outbuildings which
include an air conditioned/heated community room and storage facilities for tack, hay and grain. Our horses and humans enjoy
well lit and ventilated 10x12 stalls, fenced in paddocks with water pumps and heated troughs, 2 large arenas, a round pen,
and miles of wooded trails. We care for our horses, ourselves, and run the facility as a Co-op unit. Each boarder is
responsible for his/her own horse(s) and for the general maintenance of the buildings and surrounding grounds.
Most of our horses and their humans benefit from participating
in feed groups, which share the feeding and mucking duties among group members. Individual groups arrange their own schedules,
agreeing to feed their horses at least twice a day and clean their stalls and/or paddocks at least once a day according to
barn policy. We pride ourselves on
our commitment to safety, courtesy and conservation. If you have any further questions, or would like to schedule a time to visit
our facility please contact us at 703-630-0937. Happy Trails! Quantico Riding Club
